Who we are.

Oisín McCabe is the founder and lead physiotherapist at Total Performance Physio Ireland. He combines clinical expertise with experience in elite sport to help people of all ages move better and recover with confidence.


Professional background

Oisín graduated with a BSc in Physiotherapy from University College Dublin (2016) and an MSc in Sport and Exercise Medicine from Trinity College Dublin (2021). He is CORU-registered and a member of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists.

His research has focused on injury surveillance among college-level GAA players and on rehabilitation for hamstring injuries. This evidence-based foundation continues to shape his approach to patient care.

Alongside his private practice, Oisín works with the Irish Under-19 Football Team (Football Ireland) and provides physiotherapy support to the Irish Rugby Football Union.

With experience in both private practice and elite sport, he supports patients across all activity levels. His clinical interests include shoulder, knee, hip and groin injuries, as well as rehabilitation following knee, spinal and shoulder surgery.

Oisín’s approach is built on care, collaboration and lasting progress. Each treatment plan is tailored to the individual, helping them restore movement, build strength and maintain long-term mobility.

He provides physiotherapy in Lucan and across Dublin and Kildare, supporting patients in reaching their full potential with skilled, evidence-led care.
